Post (N.I.P.) is a non-profit, community-based organization, which
serves the downtown eastern core of Toronto since 1971. The services
that we provide include information and referral, mail and message
(for the homeless), telephone and computer (Internet) access,
supportive counseling, form-filling, advocacy, translation, housing
support, and an annual free income-tax clinic. The majority of our
clients is extremely disadvantaged, isolated and/ or marginalized
(e.g. people who are homeless/under-housed, refugees and immigrants
who have recently arrived in Canada, women leaving abusive
relationships, people who have a history of being in conflict with
the law, people with mental health problems).
