Service description: Dixon Hall provides resources and supports to the Out of the Cold host sites Free informal services for homeless people, particularly those who do not wish to use the formal hostel system
  • starting and ending dates generally November-April but vary according to program and change each year
  • all services provided by trained volunteers
  • site schedule available from Dixon Hall
  • Overnight shelter in different churches, temples and centres Monday to Sunday
  • mats or cots serve as beds
  • must vacate premises during the day
  • Drop-ins, breakfast, lunch or supper also available at various locations
